The Basketball Eye™ is a website where basketball teams across the globe can view profiles, statistics and video of aspiring players. In it's few years of existence, the Basketball Eye has grown into the premier meeting place for basketball players and teams worldwide.
This project started when Adverdea was approached by a contact within the pro basketball industry to create a web based business system that would help to connect aspiring players and agents with professional teams across the globe. Working closely with the client, Adverdea proposed the name 'Basketball Eye', designed the logo and brand graphics, and designed and developed an interactive website and management tools for the business.
Many sports scouting and recruiting businesses rely on traditional methods of connecting teams with players, including the costly practice of mailing printed profiles and DVDs internationally.
Adverdea built a web based system through which the Basketball Eye can serve it's clients more efficiently through the use of technology.
The development of Basketball Eye included many complex systems for player profiling, client user tools, client video uploading and hosting, player searching, content management, camp promotion and online registration, and mass email broadcasts. The system has proven to be simple to use for players, agents, and teams, and is easily managed by the Basketball Eye team.
To date, Basketball Eye has already assisted many of it's members in signing professional basketball contracts across the world. The sites boasts over 1,000 members, and continues to grow as the new leader for scouting and recruiting for the global basketball industry.
